NEPAFE draws on a membership of scientists, researchers, and policy experts with deep experience in agriculture, forestry, natural resource management, and environmental sciences. We actively engage with key policy discussions on food security, climate resilience, sustainable land management, and biodiversity conservation. Our team has contributed research published in leading international journals, and we maintain a growing library of publications available freely to the public through our website. We also facilitate access to knowledge for diaspora professionals and students by maintaining a national professional database, enabling collaboration, and connecting members with emerging research opportunities across institutions, government bodies, and international organisations. Networking & Mentoring Connecting professionals. Supporting the next generation. One of NEPAFE's core strengths is its people. We facilitate meaningful professional connections among Nepalese-origin academics, practitioners, and students across Australia - from Canberra to Sydney, Hobart to Melbourne - creating a national network that is greater than the sum of its parts. Through our regular webinar series, workshops, and professional development events, experienced members share insights on career pathways, industry trends, and practical skills with early-career professionals and students.
